◆ Clark Closes It Out
Wyndham Clark wins the BMW at −17, by three. He led from Friday and never blinked. But our week was really about the four calls we made on moving day — and we promised a final grade. Here it is, the good and the ugly.

◆ The Card, Graded — 3 of 4
We made four calls Friday, win probabilities attached. The final grade:
✓ The sleeper — Cantlay. Solo 2nd. Our call of the week. We said if his frozen putter warmed to neutral, he’d contend — it did, and a 6% longshot ran all the way to second. This is the whole thesis in one player: trust the ball-striker whose putter has room to climb.
✓ The fade — Spaun. T22. The hot putter cooled (+3 Sunday) and he tumbled from third to the pack. The cleanest example of our core idea all week: putting doesn’t travel.
✓ The favorite — Clark. Won. The model’s rightful favorite closed it out. No drama.
✗ Our bet — Woodland. T4, never in it. The miss. We bet his cold putter would turn; it didn’t. A solid finish, but the outright call was wrong — and the lesson stings clean: “the putter has room to improve” is a case for upside, not a promise it will. We’ll take that one on the chin.
◆ The 30 Are Set
East Lake is locked. Ryan Fox grabbed the 30th and final ticket right on the number. Both of our advancement calls hit — Cantlay and Woodland banked in comfortably. And the cruelest side of the line:
◆ Rickie Fowler, Kurt Kitayama, and J.T. Poston miss. Fowler finished a shot short of the stumbles he needed above him — his season ends at Bellerive, on the outside of the top 30.

◆ The Line for the Cup
Three of four calls right, one owned — and the ball-striking reads (Cantlay up, Spaun down) carried the week; the one that burned us was betting a cold putter would turn. Now it’s East Lake, 30 players, the FedEx Cup. We’ll have the full board before the first tee.
